Ben, thx, I took a look at the thread. Although expires sounds like it 
should work, it didn't sound consistently successful so I went the other 
route noted in the thread and added a variable to the filename of the 
image which gets regenerated every time the page is reloaded. This seems 
to work.   I also fixed a problem with the CSS for the footer.
