Thanks everyone, I will follow these suggestions. He uses the webhost for
outoging mail. I set it up for him, so I know that for a fact.
I will try changing the port, and checking the SMTP authentication, when he
returns of course!

If it is port blocking, changing the outgoing port from 25 to 26 works
sometimes too.
