linking from there to PeterNed's site, he says

    "Users with SP2 installed may not see it working correctly, 
     because webservers have to send htc files with the mime-type
     set to text/x-component."

so is it safe to assume that, since this works fine on IE7 and IE6 on
WinXP SP2, they've got the server set up correctly?
