I too agree with Will. Google spider looks closely at your header layout on
your page. Personally in hit example of the New York Times main page vs.
content, you can leave the company name in the H1 for your screen
readers/text mode browsers, but style it so it show smaller on content pages
so the content holds the visual focus of the reader.
