I too am a copy and paste person.  And I feel confident that most
folks are probably good at retyping the same mistake over and over.

Personally I think you ought to ask for the email address just once,
check that it's well-formed and add a line below the email field that
says "please double check that you've typed your email address
correctly" or something similar.
