See, my question is why not? When a streaming service would solve most  
of your problems.

It's the classic outsourcing question - is hosting online video the  
thing you want to be famous for? If not, getting good enough to match  
people's expectations (which, let's face it, *is* the usability of  
YouTube) is going to be painful, and ultimately not that rewarding.
