[thelist] E-Commerce - Access to Watch Videos

Hi Everyone -

Had a friend (and now client) ask me about a website last Friday. They are
looking to produce continuing education (CE) webinars for their market and
post them on a website. When someone needs CE, they pay (via the website)
to have access to the video for a limited time (30 days?) At the end of the
video, they will be redirected so they can download their certificate for
continuing education credits.

Things the site must do:
- It has to rely on the honor system to a point, but by making them go
through the whole video before they get their certificate, it at least
attempts to make them watch it.
- They don't want to allow someone to share access with others.
- They want as much control over the site as possible, including uploading
the videos.

I'm wondering if there is a good shopping cart out there that can handle the
majority of this, or whether it needs to be built from scratch?

Anyone have any thoughts on this, or have come across something in the past
that might work?

Thanks!

Todd
