[thelist] Virtual Hosts management control panel recommendations

Hi All,

Rather than provisioning third-party webspace for every basic web
project as we currently do, my company has decided to dedicate a
server to run virtual hosts on; I have been given the task of setting
this up.

As this server will effectively be acting as the equivalent of a
reseller (but only internally) I would like to add a reseller-type
control panel application to make the creation and management of
accounts and sites as easy as possible. Does anyone have any
recommendations of free web based control panels that I could use.

The server is likely to be a FreeBSD server, but I can go Linux if
necessary. It will definitely have Apache 2, MySQL 5, PHP and Perl
installed, So an application running on those would be ideal, though I
can install other software as well if it is free (so if there is an
awesome python based control panel I would have no problems installing
that)
