I don't notice much of a difference but I never had a problem with the 
original font sizing though.  I'd say go ahead and make the change.  (If 
you haven't already.)

I'd say let's go ahead and link it to production after it has been 
coloured appropriately.  We might want to add some sort of pinned 
article to explain what it is and how to add yourself or just what the 
plans are in general for 'Play'.
