The one design downside is that they don't do white printing.

But sod it - even if the design were a simple logo on a white mug and
shirt... This isn't ideal, but it's one hell of a lot better than what we
have (ie 'noMerchandise' and 'noMerchandiseRevenue')

imo I don't think this needs theforum's approval (as the principle is long
decided ("Sell schwag for cash")), just a notification. I think steering
could decide this.

If it's Rackshack, then it's likely to cost approx $100 setup plus the
first month's fee (also ~$100) in advance, per box.

Presumably we're also going to pay the $700 back fees as/when we can
afford them?

Yep.

Fortunately, it seems that Cafepress really is a 'no advance outlay'
setup (they print to order, not in batches). Which is both rare and
welcome.
