seriously. if you call a function from a window that is not there you get this error. Sorry to bother you, but I've found that I have code similar to that which you posted under the stated title. I am trying to do something very similar, and I'm running into the same problem. IE5 gives me a : "Server threw exception" message, but netscape runs fine. I was wondering if you ever found an answer to this problem, since this thread is fairly short.
