[Javascript] How do i refresh a top frame and pass the value as well from another frame1() and want to display banner based on action takes place in frame1()

Hi,

       we have developed website using JSP. we want to referesh the top
frame and display some banner on top frame using JavaScript. so can you
write me with sample code(if possible) how can i code for the same problem.

please let me know idea and suggestions.
