[Javascript] RegExp

alas, it does not work. It doesn't error either... which is odd.

is it something to do with the textarea element perhaps... maybe it doesn't
store CrLf's as chr(10) and chr(13)?  I'm not too sure.

               strString = strString.replace(re,"");
