Not if people properly patch their Microsoft security holes.

I understand that there might be dozens of legitimate reasons for needing
this functionality, but if a browser were to allow you to do that then it
would also allow Joe Cracker to run delete_the_C_drive.bat -- yuck. For that
reason it is very dangerous, and not allowed.
