[Javascript] CD-Rom detection.....

I would like to use JavaScript to detect whether a valid CD-Rom is 
inserted.

1) Query PC to establish the letter of one or more CD-Rom players 
attached.

2) Query each CD-Rom player attached to establish if a certain CD-Rom 
is inserted by it's "label" string value.

Any ideas?
