[Javascript] Non-Scrolling Titles

I am using the 2 frame approach you mentioned and it works quite well.  
If you have large tables, you might want to consider storing the actual 
data in javascript arrays so you can implement client side sorting and 
filtering.  The main downside to this approach is you are depending on 
the speed of the client machine.
