[Javascript] macintosh freezup on your link

On a recent test with some javascripted site  a user reported :

MacOS8.6 and IE5: result happiness
MacOS9.2.2 and IE5: result misery

MacOS8.6 and NS7: result happiness
MacOS9.2.2 and NS4.7: result happiness
