I tend to think more along your line of thought rather than competition
being
better.  Do you know how many features MS would pack into their browser
if they didn't have to worry about complying to standards? I can see how in
the LONG term it might hurt us having only one choice, but in the SHORT
term,
I see much more beneficial gain if some of these browsers would just go
away...

Having said that though, I always try to make something cross-browser, just
because I don't know if others will support what I'd ultimately like to
accomplish
- most of which IE is already capable of.  I do give NN credit through -
they're
putting out a better browser than they were in the past. I would have NEVER
said that about their version 4 browsers.
