[Javascript] How to disable by id in Mozilla

I guess I didn't explain that too clearly.

Id's are unique.  have a fieldset with an id of 'extrafields', and in 
the fieldset a  couple of fields each defined with a unique id. I 
shortened the code that I pasted to just one disable statement, but I 
have one for every id.
