[Javascript] Loading html content from another server using Javascript ?

Is  it possible to do something like this

var htmlsource = getsource("http://www.domain.com/somepage.htm")   in
javascript at client browser.
What tricks would you recommend to accomplisg it ?
Is XML or hidden frame or any other way that you think can do the job ?
