[Javascript] positioning an element

Hi!

I know that this is the time for a vacation, but I hope there are still some
people out there that have to work ;) 
I'm using javascript to position an element on the right x, y coordinates.
Because x,y coordinates are gathered from an another object on the page, I
was wondering, if it is possible to position this object when the page is
fully loaded. Can this be accomplished?
