[Javascript] textarea properties

The alternative would be for the textarea to get longer and longer
and longer as you type more text without a CR...? Or would it be for it
to scroll?

I don't know of a way to make the textarea do either, except of
course to keep a record of the width of the element and every time you
press a key, see if the current line is longer than the textarea and if
so, make the textarea wider by the width of one character... The
derivation is left as an exercise for the reader :-D

ok, what about the fact that a <textarea> wraps text by default, is
there a way to make it not do that - for both Mozilla and IE?

Chris.

We have allready discussed this matter few years ago. Off course the

in all imaginable ways, far more preferable and more suitable.
