I think I need to either rethink my strategy, or see if someone can help me place the image before the text. Look at: http://clearimageonline.com/projects/filebrowser/filebrowser.html I am creating an image and trying insertBefore(newimg); to place it before the nodes text, but have not been able to get it to work. Once again I am trying to keep my html markup as bare bones as possible. Thanks, Terry
