When you say 'But I need only Javascript script
without asp.' Do mean client side only. If so the answer is no since plain JavaScript doesn't have access to the local file system to monitor the progress of a download. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

> you can lift a progress bar sample that uses the SystemFile Object. Maybe you can convert it to your requirements. Mind that this is a Win2K/IIS5 server base with ASP code, so you'll need to port it for PHP or whatever you choose to use. And the site is a personal server, only good for ab. 5 connections (and I'm probably using two or three playing with it), not a commercial nor even a 'display' site. It'll work in IE5.01, it'll not work in Netscape 4.x, it works after a fashion in Opera, Mozilla 0.9.2, and Netscape 6.x. Haven't tried Lynx lately, so can't say.
