<P>you have to explain on why and what is it that you particulary need to get this forced refresh on? There might be better ways to get the page elements behave the way you need them to do.</P>
<P>The onload event will fire every time the page is loaded so you will always end-up in an endless cycle of reload. You will need to give some condition of why the page should reload or refresh itself. So if the condition is not met after the page has reloaded, it will break the cycle and you will get happy with your page. So what is/are the element/s that should be refreshed and is/are not getting refreshed with the simple first load? What do they contain? If it is data, why not clear them, if it is element objects, why not refresh only them? User will hate to see that the same page is loading twice and it will also make him suspicious that you've just installed some spyware or a virus in his sytem. It will simply spoil the users surfing etc...</P><BR><BR><BR>
