Right. So both extremes are unrealistic.

So what *is* realistic?

Put some numbers on it, or we have no way of knowing.

The other thing to bear in mind of course is if we do end up with a pile
of shite because we didn't specify anything better, or evaluate hosts
against better requirements (ie it looks great but because we didn't
specify we get screwed), the result will be:

1) We have to move again, probably at short notice
2) It all reflects rather badly on those charged with developing and
assessing hosts against requirements.
