A standard procedure would be to do a backup of the data prior to the
move.  Tapes of the backup would travel with the hardware.  We could
take the extra precaution that copies of the tapes would reside at
Starkmedia as well.

I'm not sure about third-party software.  I am assuming that CF and
Oracle can be downloaded from the Web site and the license applied.
PHP, Apache, mysql, etc. can all be downloaded from the Web.

We shouldn't have to bother Dan with any of this as long as we have
the licenses and our backups are good.
