yah, brain wasn't engaged - i tend to usually regard registrars as such, and
only use their nameservers for secondary, i prefer having the utmost control
over my domains :)

+1 on a managed service but -1 on everydns.net

I'm with John on this one - I'd rather use a full commercial service such as
gandi with a contract, SLA and a modicum of generous uptime.

I think that unless one of our own boxen (e.g. the eouk raq) performs
primary nameservice for us, having an outsourced pri ns with multiple
orchestrated admins from sysadmin is a good call - having to constantly
route dns changes through Ron (or whoever in future) must have been a pain
in the ass for him.
