[Sysadmin] mail receiving is acting up. (maybe it's just mine, i know)

so, there's an escalating time waiting period from sent to received in my
mailbox.
and that lead to me hitting my headers, trying to figure out why, and/or
where.

and being the blonde that i am (sometimes) i have no idea where the problem
lies.

obviously i see in the archives that the mail i sent to thechat at 19.34
did arrive there, but at 20.52 it hasn't yet landed in my mailbox.

the following are four random headers copied from mail sent to thechat
today.
any one of you able to explain it to the blonde one?
