+1 Agreed

Even the appearance of "censorship" is bound to spawn more off-topic 
list traffic than it prevents, and, perhaps worse, any attempt at 
*mechanical* censorship will be quickly defeated by any of our our 
clever and technical members that become (rightfully, IMO) offended by 
it's presence.
