Allow anyone to register (probably a subset of theforum), and hope that we
aren't invaded by a zillion script_kiddies.

One of these two. Something that handles timing, quorum issues,
notification, etc.
I'd like to plan the web app's db, but I know Rudy would only correct
everything. Then I'd like to build the app with CF, but I know Jeff would
only re-do it all. :p

Unlikely to be achievable.

I think this method would be the best. It allows for an opportunity to speed
up the process if the majority are on-line and ready to go. But also allows
for a decision should people be distracted or taking the day off.
