this sums it pretty well, methinks...

michele was asked (not by anyone on admin, mind you), but nobody on
admin was told... the announcement went to thesite and here, but not the
admin team -- the ones with access to the aeo tool to answer emails... admin
was told, but only after prodding...

and michele didn't even know until she tried...

yes, i'd say that's a pretty good example of what's going on here...

this is the kind of stuff we have to find a way to get past... we've looked like
fools before for letting spam get repeatedly posted as admins plea with list
members to be patient because we're waiting on one or two guys...  we've got
people being granted access to hardware and administrative tools without
anyone knowing but the guy who knows access...

this is not how you run anything...

so, marlene, i'm completely open to suggestions...
