[Theforum] More fundraising ideas

Hi All,

I had a couple of thoughts about fundraising...

Thought # 1

Is there any way we could set up monthly deductions from people's credit
cards? I think this could be a good thing(TM) for two reasons:

1. it allows people who don't have a lot of cash on hand to donate more
money. It's easier for people without loads of disposable income to give $10
a month ($120 a year) than shell out $120 at once.

2. it provides an ongoing and dependable funding source - so we know how
much cash (at least a minimum) we'll have in any given month.

Thought #2

Could we make a page on weo listing people who have donated - sort of like
Noah Grey does on the Greymatter site <http://noahgrey.com/greysoft/>? Or a
10 most recent donors page. Or something. It would give that sense of
recognition and thanks to people who do give money.

Sorry if either of these ideas have been suggested already - I haven't been
on theforum for long.

Regards,
Tara
