bah, generators ...just use:

http://www.amazon.[region]/exec/obidos/ASIN/[asin]/[associateid]

where region can be .com, .co.uk, .de, .fr, .co.jp, .ca, but associate
programmes are insular to each region - an associate id from .com doesn't
work with .co.uk, and vice versa.
