If it's a question of 'somewhere to put a CV and articles' then
a) If it's a production service, you shouldn't be doing that on meo at
present
b) meo as proposed will allow you to do that

What is meant by redirects? Redirect every page? Rewrite URLs
transparently? Redirect all requests for a user's URLs to a user-specified
URL?

In all cases, existing meo users who have permanent redirects and don't
sign up for a new-meo (non-lossmaking) account will be costing us money we
don't have.

Remember - we still owe Ron $700. We have no money rn. If this doesn't
happen, we will *still* have no money, but owe Ron another $500 every
month.

While making it as if we're not actually changing meo would be nice from a
service perspective, it doesn't help. I'll prioritise keeping the
organisation solvent over ideal community support every single time, and
I'd be a lot more sympathetic to suggestions of "don't cut my access"
if they came along with pledges of montly dollar amounts (with >1, ideally
>2 digits).

If the community cared enough about the service, then they'd cough up the
cash. Right now, it's not happening.

I think you're right - the latest and/or best articles deserve more
attention.

Cheers
