let me then start by nominating william right away. not only does he
have the skills as he himself has stated, but the benefit of being on a
different timezone ... therefore awake during different hours.

i don't know enough about the sysadmins we already have to know who else
has the skills, so i'll leave other nominations to different persons.
someone on the east coast sounds like a reasonable decision though.
