Dear all

I have a piece of software that can be downloaded from a web page and installed on Windows systems. There are various different partner "skins" and language options. Also, patches and updates become available at times. However, whenever a new instance or a patch or an update is installed the entire thing needs to be downloaded. What I want to do is gather the required information, then only send the required packages down the pipe to the client. I'm currently embarking on the MSI learning curve, but the other thing is that many of the users are still on Windows 98. Obliging them to download a couple of Mb to accommodate use of MSI files seems to defeat the object a bit. Any poke in the right direction would be appreciated.
