I did - backports was all you, though :)
But I agree with you on this one too. Bugfixes++ , especially with
old crufty apps like mailman.
Re: Mediawiki --
I think an SVN repo may be useful for more than just that; I just
watched mysociety.org's entire spread of sites fall over today, and
they keep all their configs and pws for the remote rack hardware in a
protected wiki. Which also went offline. Oops. Having William,
Dean, myself and $trusted_others[] able to keep the keys in a repo may
be a good idea. Thoughts?

Is now a good time for me to suggest we stop using Apache? Do we
really need to load a PHP interpreter into memory every time we serve
up a favicon?
