Bri wrote about a nice 'potent potable' ... "you can't seem to get it in the
UK for
love nor money. Bummer."

;-)

There are probably a VERY large number of interesting "local" or "regional"
items ...

For example, in the UK it used to be quite easy to get those yummy 'Double
Decker Bars' (Cadbury? ... It's been a few years.) .... I haven't been able
to find those here in the States!

... Of course ... here we have a 'Pearson's Nut Goodie' candy bar ... that
seems to be only available up around Minnesota and Wisconsin ... I found a
company that would ship cases into Ohio for me .... but I can't find 'em in
Texas! ;-(

... and then there's Breitenbach wine ... from the Amish in Ohio ...
"Frostfire" (white) or "Roadhouse Red" ... delightful .... but they won't
ship out of Ohio!! ... [and yes - they have a website!
http://www.breitenbachwine.com [The Amish are a 'practical' people! They
may not embrace the technology - but they are willing to make money from
it!]
