Dear Mr Burns,

We recently spoke with regards to my forthcoming conference on "Intranet
Content Management ", to be held in London on the 12th & 13th June. I would
like to take this opportunity to invite you to stand on the speaker platform
as a case study

The conference will be aimed at senior management who are responsible for
intranet content management. These will include: IT Directors,
Communication Managers, HR Directors and E-Business Managers. Should you
wish to take part in this event my suggestion would be to base your talk
around one of the topics from my draft programme, which I have attached to
this email. However, if there is another area you would be interested in
speaking on, but is not outlined, then I would be happy to discuss this with
you further.

I realise that you are probably extremely busy, but I would appreciate it if
you could let me know your decision at your earliest convenience as I have a
tight deadline to meet.

Kind regards,
