I love words like "knackered"

Another anglophilic words I dig: "whilst"
My sister likes to use "bum" in the anglo way as well.

And while I'm at it, I wonder how common/well understood the term
"anglo" is in the Southern California sense. "Anglo" means "white
person; or, of white people" -- most commonly used from a hispanic point
of view. Or maybe it's ubiquitous.
