Uh, that's what the "almost" was for... "Almost impossible" means that "Yes,
it can be done, but isn't easy or likely"

and in both of those cases its more the exchange rate between US$ and
CN(CD?)$ that are killing them than bad business decisions. Their revenue is
in CN$ and most expenses in US$. Canadian teams in all three leagues
probably won't survive another 10 years, with the exception of the Toronto
based teams and Le Habs. They pay way higher taxes, get less ad revenue, a
lot less government support in the form of publicly financed stadiums, etc,
etc...
