Some people really do /swear/ by Silver Surfer. The character is modeled
in Christian mythology - making him an apt target for highfalutin'
cultural criticism. 

Another mention of Silver Surfer occured in the Gene Hackman/Denzel
Washington submarine flick - supposedly some dialogue added by Quentin
Taratino - he breaks up an argument between some crewmembers involving
which was better - the Jack Kirby Silver Surfer or the Moebius Silver
Surfer.
