Uh, no, not a faith. Faith is a belief system usually not supported by a
whole lot of factual evidence, you simply must "believe". Science is mostly
dependant on facts, the things that can't be factually proven are called
hypotheses and theories depending on the amount of evidence to support them.
I can say that the Earth is far older than what the Bible says it is because
I have Carbon dated rocks that are millions of years old. A scientist who
states something without evidence to back him up usually gets ridiculed, he
doesn't have a cult form around him like Jim Jones, David Koresh and L. Ron
