Leather, of course, doesn't necessarily come from steers. It's
the skin of *any* animal, properly treated with tannin.

I'm trying to turn my entire body, inside and out, into leather
with massive doses of tannin-rich iced tea. 

It seems to be working from the top down. Everything between
my ears is turning leathery....
