D'oh! I knew I saw it in Monterey, CA. Thought it was
when my second daughter was born in 1981. That's  
when I saw Raiders. We were living in Monterey again
in 1984. After Dune we called the sitter to see if
she'd stay longer so we could go see 2010 to get the
taste of Dune out. I just REALLY didn't like it. But
I have no trouble with you liking it Scott. Heck, my
son loves it. The, ahem, 1984 version that is. :)
