he signed with the adelaide 36ers (local NBL team) earlier today. (how many
australians on thechat?)

he is contacting LMU (probably as i write this) to let them know he will no
longer be accepting their offer (he'd signed a letter of intent, but can
cancel that at any time).

not sure how you guys work your junior/senior/freshman/sophomore/weirdo
stuff, but he is 19. most australian kids finish high school at 17. after
high school, he had a year at AIS (12 basketballers selected each year from
around australia for elite training), and then has just done about 6 months
training in the 36ers development squad (as an 11th man i guess), while
looking at offers from various colleges.

(he was also considering 2 colleges in portland, but when i told him about
jeff's pleather pants, he changed his mind... ;))
