Well, I do consider myself of sound mind, and I think it is a fair
comparison. My point is, if you don't speak out then nothing is ever going
to change. The reason I used that quote was because I felt it was a good
example of what happens if you ignore what is going on around you. As Martin
pointed out, the situation with Shell in Nigeria was a clear case of profits
before people, and Nazi Germany was a case of power before people.
I find it hard to believe that you have never been sufficiently outraged by
anything to want to actively do something about it. Your answer to most of
Martin's examples was that it "came down because of people fighting for
their own freedom." Are you trying to say that it is OK to protest if it is
something that directly affects you personally? And if you don't recall much
violence during the suffragist movement I suggest you read this
