in Las Vegas?
in Las Vegas you can drink anywhere and everywhere.

nice beer is another matter. I think nice beer is anti-Vegas,
really. Is there nice beer in Vegas? I don't know, it just seems
wrong.

To be Vegas is Jack Daniels and Marlboros. Beer is fizzy and yellow
(that's not what you meant by 'wee' is it?) But maybe my experience
is colored by my experience.

In LA and Vegas you should drink cocktails I think. Forget the beer.

but wait!

Something changed since I escaped 10 years ago?

San "don't call it 'Frisco" Francisco

I recommend Anchor porter.

fortunately the beer is far better than the web site.

LA

I've never been there, but this San Diego beer is worth a try because
they DO have an entertaining web site, none of that namby pamby
cutsie crap
http://www.arrogantbastard.com/

I think Arrogant Bastard ale tastes like old wet socks although my
homies in Oregon seem to love it and have given it awards. I don't
know what they put in it, but I drank one (1) pint in the middle of a
bike ride and ended up swerving the rest of the way home.

It also gets points for shamelessly dissing fizzy yellow beer of the
variety that is/was so popular in redneck cow-towns like Lost Wages.
