[thechat] ASP vs. ASP.Net - Anyone made the move?

So it was Monday and the PHB's came to me and said, "Shouldn't we move to 
this new ASP.Net thing?" Of course they know not what it is and if it 
jumped up and bit them in the proverbial keester they would be surprised 
and confused.

We have a lot invested in NT servers and IIS and many ASP pages, but our 
new db server is being set up as a Win2K  platform with SQL Server 2000 
which is heralded as M$'s first true .NET server.

Has anyone made the move to ASP.Net? I noticed that there is a fair amount 
of syntactical differences, so I was wondering how painful the experience was.
